Miyotôtamowin/Ho ti yeh ha ghoohn leh

Concurrent and full group sessions are planned over the 2-day workshop with the first day focused on identifying areas of concern and the second day focused on finding solutions as they relate to environmental monitoring and ecological restoration. In addition, an area with booths thematic to the workshop, including Indigenous artist demonstrating land-based crafts, will be available throughout the two days.

The goal of the proposed workshop is to provide an opportunity for youth to learn about environmental monitoring and ecological restoration. Additionally, our goal is to help northwest communities to better understand approaches to and opportunities for Indigenous-led environmental monitoring and eco-restoration, and promote intergenerational communication through land-based learning and sharing circles.
