Vision Statement

Developing Eco-Restoration Together (DERT) is a unique ecological restoration project developed through a partnership between NWC Environmental Services, Denison Mines Corporation, and the University of Saskatchewan. Our project and partnership are rooted in respect for the land. Together, we aim to honour the land by recognizing our interdependent relationship. We aim to weave together knowledge from the land, Indigenous wisdom, and Western science to better care for and heal the land. In this way, we will work to reconcile our relationship with the land and with each other.
